There’s a lot of biennial bee blossom in my garden (oenothera gaura, aka gaura biennis) and throughout the summer I see stilt bugs (berytidae, which appear to be jalysus but it’s hard to tell, their features are so fine.)

I don’t know much about the insects, but I do know that all my gaura plants attract them. I wonder if it‘s the aroma of rhe plants, since i often find them mating on the plants. Or maybe the plants make good host plants for jalysus young, or offer a good source of food.
